MALOLOS CITY, Bulacan – The provincial government is set to further improve public safety, monitoring and response during calamities and emergencies by installing wireless weather stations, water level sensors and closed-circuit television (CCTV) cameras along critical remote areas.
Governor Wilhelmino M. Sy-Alvarado said, the P92 million-worth project dubbed as “Bulacan 4C” or Bulacan Communication Command Control Center features the modernization of the flood management and monitoring system of the Provincial Disaster Risk Reduction Management Council (PDRRMC).
The governor said, almost 75% of the total population of the province will benefit from the project wherein 32 strategic locations and remote sites in Bulacan will be included in the provision of advance monitoring system including the three big dams in the province – Angat, Ipo and Bustos.
