Television host-actress Kris Aquino gave a sample to her fans of her daily video blog which will be launched in December as she talked about columbarium.
“Working on Kris Chronicles (my daily video blog) as part of my new digital media venture. I’d written this a couple of weeks back, it’s part of my growing collection of essays for our December launch but it felt appropriate to upl” said Aquino on the caption of her video blog posted on Instagram.
Aquino showed the video clip with narration.
“I bought my vault in the new columbarium of St. Michael the Archangel in BGC to help the fundraisng efforts of my friend Fr. Betbet;”
“I was being practical;
“And I’ve said several times that I don’t want my sons to be hassled about where to bury me or worry about the maintenance of my mausoleum;”
“Simple lang naman. Ano bang halaga kung saan ako ililibing, eh, ang goal naman umabot ako sa langit,” said Aquino.
Aquino, 45, has two sons Joshua and James.
Some of her fans believe that it was uploaded as her clear response to the surprise burial of former President Ferdinand Marcos at the Libingan ng mga Bayani in Taguig City last November 18.
“Nappanahon miss kris…pero tama po kayo, wala yan kng san man ililibing..ang mahalaga sa langit mapupunta. God bless po,” a follower of Aquino commented on IG.
Another follower said: “I’ve heard and read a lot of comments, opinions and violent reactions about the Marcos Burial. I must say, this is by far the most sensible post. No bad words, no angst, just truth about life.”
“Now I know the answer to my query on your silence regarding the lnmb burial. What a beautiful wise thought to ponder on. What is life here on earth if in the end, you might have been buried in the most talked about cemetery but your soul is wretched and won’t even reach heaven? It’s the what we do on earth that really matters if we go to heaven or hell,” said another comment by her fan.
