A rookie policeman who cyber-bullied a female anti-Marcos protester through explicit sexual comments in the social media was ordered investigated for conduct unbecoming of a law enforcer.
No less than Director General Ronald dela Rosa, chief of the Philippine National Police (PNP), said he has already given a go-signal to conduct an in-depth probe against a netizen identified as Christian Raizo Plantinos.
“I will have him investigated. He should show to that he is a gentleman, kind and respectable,” said dela Rosa.
Plantinos, who was exposed by fellow netizens to be a policeman through pictures in his Facebook account that include his uniform with nameplate, was among those who ganged-up on what was described to be a pretty anti-Marcos protester who was among those who went to the street after learning that former president Ferdinand Marcos was buried at the Libingan ng Mga Bayani.
The comments were explicit sexual ones wherein a lot of male netizens joined the fray.
A netizen who has a Facebook account named Isabuhay Dugongbughaw commented that he would make the female anti-Marcos protester experience Martial Law in bed.
Plantinos also commented that he wanted to join for a threesome.
“Why did he become a policeman? Maybe he did not pass the neuro-psychiatric examination. Why does he have that kind of mindset?,” said dela Rosa.
“I will have him subjected to neuro-psychiatric examination again. If he fails, he will be removed in the service,” he added.
Senior Supt. Wilfredo Cayat, chief of the PNP-Morale and Welfare Division, confirmed that they have in a roster Police Officer 1 Christian Godfrey Celes Plantinos.
He said Plantinos is assigned at the Negros Island Region. (Aaron B. Recuenco)
