ACTRESS Arci Muñoz has admitted that she is not ready to go dating again after her failed relationship with Badi del Rosario, son of Brunei Prince Jefri Bolkiah.
“No,” said Muñoz, when asked about going on a date after her split from her boyfriend, during an interview on “Tonight with Boy Abunda” on ABS CBN recently.
Muñoz also dismissed rumors that a third party caused the break up with Del Rosario.
“Everytime na may break up sasabihin nila may third party. This time around it’s not like that talaga. Not at all. Ang daming factors at ang daming naging problema nung 2016. Naging OK ang career ko. Tapos naapektuhan yung lovelife,” said Muñoz, star of the new sexy-action-comedy film “Extra Service.”
“Ang sabi ko sa sarili ko, kaya kong pagsabayin ito. Sabi nung iba ’pag maganda ang showbiz career mo hindi magiging maganda ang lovelife mo. Ayokong maging ganun eh kasi gusto ko talagang iba eh,” she added.
“Pero ang hirap pala talaga. Yung naging sobrang busy ako nawalan ako ng time para sarili ko, sa parents ko at sa kanya,” Muñoz said.
Despite this, Muñoz said that she and her former boyfriend will remain good friends.
“He’s very understanding. He supports me naman kaya lang I just don’t want to be unfair. Ang daming factors na iba iba talaga,” she added.
Muñoz also said that she is not closing her doors to be reunited with her former lover.
“Hindi ko naman talaga sinasara ang doors for him and I respect him. I do wanna protect him and I do wanna take care of him. ’Yun naman ang ginagawa ko and we’ve been together for almost four years,” she said.
“S’ya ’yung pinaka best friend ko eh. Sa ngayon kahit hindi kami magkabalikan agad, rest assured na magiging mabuti kaming makaibigan,” Muñoz added.
The actress also said that the most important lesson learned in 2016 is to give time to your family.
“The most important lesson is that I should spend time with my loved ones. I was too busy doing work and there’s nothing wrong with that. I’m gonna make sure that every Sunday I get to spend it with them,” Muñoz said.
