Kevin Durant and Draymond Green are both emotion and have a history of jawing. For the second time in two months, footage shows emotions running high once more during the Warriors’ loss to the Sacramento Kings in overtime (109-106).
Footage shows Draymond Green seemingly showing the shooting motion to Kevin Durant. Already having a bad night, it seems the former NBA MVP took exception. Teammates Shaun Livingston and JaVale McGee stepped in to calm both players. This incident follows the first one back in January when the Warriors lost to the Memphis Grizzlies (128-119).
Durant had a bad shooting night, going only 2-for-10 from the field. He finished with only 10 markers. The incident may have been the one where Durant was going up against DeMarcus Cousins. With the shot clock winding down, Durant opted to pass to Green than take the shot. Green was eventually forced to shoot a three-pointer that went awry.
After the game, Green said that Durant had to take more shots. He however added that the team had a poor offensive showing overall. The video of that heated exchange can be viewed below.
