“Not at this time but we are not also discouraging our partners like LGUs and NGOs to do that,” pahayag ni Ubial nang tanungin kung gagawin pa rin ng ahensiya ang nakagawiang pamimigay ng condoms tuwing Araw ng mga Puso.
“We are actually providing condoms everyday not just only during Valentine’s Day and it is being provided through the LGUs, our partners in the health sectors. So ‘yan po ay continuous, ‘yung ating pagpo-provide ng condoms, particularly sa at risk population but it is through health centers,” sabi pa ni Ubial.
“I think even if your partner, given it is your legal partner, if you don’t have plan of getting pregnant, that (use of condoms) is the best way, one of the best ways, to prevent pregnancy. Sometimes if you plan to get pregnant at this time that we are not certain about Zika we also somehow encourage protected sex even among couples,” dagdag pa ni Bayugo. (Charina Clarisse L. Echaluce)
