We live in stressful, hard times.
Numerous problems lead to an imbalance in our lifestyle. That’s not a good idea to begin with.
Experts claim that to bring back our life to normalcy, indulging in silence is necessary.
Is there a technique in being silent?
Elisha Goldstein in mindful.org said that “spending time in solitude is actually a very healthy thing to do – it gives us an opportunity to balance the busyness.”
Goldstein says all we need is five minutes per day of complete silence to regain our balance.
Silence is powerful.
It benefits the brain, gives it rest. It provides peace and harmony to one’s life. Being in silence might give you time to think deeply. Doing your work effectively is also one of the benefits of silence.
Alex Lickerman, M.D. shared in psychologytoday.com that trying silence, once in a while, grants people ability to listen carefully and to clearly view the hearts of others. Attractiveness, self-control and wisdom are some of its other benefits.
Remember: Being in a noise- polluted community is unhealthy. It can cause high blood pressure, and can lead to heart attack.
A bit of silence every day can help you achieve a better, healthy day.
