A septic tank cleaner died while saving a fellow worker who suffered breathing difficulties while siphoning the contents of a septic tank of a food establishment in Pasig City yesterday.
Police identified the victim as Richard Cabarles, 48, of Diliman, Quezon City.
His co-worker, Marvin Cabanlon, suffered breathing difficulties while siphoning the septic tank. Cabarles lifted Cabanlon but the former fell into the septic tank moments later. (Jenny F. Manongdo)
