The Department of Public Works and Highways has assured hassle-free travel on the Old Zigzag Road in Atimonan, Quezon after it was widened and spruced up to make it look like a tourist spot.
According to DPWH Quezon 4th District Engineering Office District Engineer Cely Flancia and Assistant District Engineer Gener Abergas, the maintenance section headed by Engineer Jun Jun Tadiosa was in charge of the improvements, and together with the construction section led by George Tadiosa, is conducting round-the-clock maintenance of the Old Zigzag Road.
Quezon Rep. Helen Tan initiated the widening and beautification of the road, beginning at the time of District Engineer Ronnel Tan, now the DPWH Region 1 director, Flancia and Abergas added.
