Scattered to frequent rain showers and thunderstorms mostly in the afternoon or evening will prevail over some parts of the country throughout the week.
The Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical, and Astronomical Services Administration said the intertropical convergence zone will affect Mindanao while the ridge of high pressure area will prevail across Northern and Central Luzon.
PAGASA said cloudy skies with light to moderate rains and isolated thunderstorms will be experienced over Biliran, Eastern Samar, Leyte, Northern Samar, Samar, Southern Leyte, and Mindanao.
Partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers or thunderstorms mostly in the afternoon or evening will prevail over Metro Manila and the rest of the country.
By Wednesday until Friday, PAGASA said the western side of the ridge of HPA in the northwestern Pacific Ocean will gradually ease northeastwards, while the ITCZ will slowly move northwards to southern Mindanao.
PAGASA said expect partly cloudy to cloudy skies with scattered rain showers and thunderstorms across Southern Luzon, including Palawan, Visayas, and Mindanao.
