A 4-cock derby, billed as the Battle of Champions, will be held tonight at the Elorde Cockpit Stadium in Sucat Road, Parañaque.
Promoted by businessman-sportsman Johnny Elorde, the derby offers a guaranteed prize of P300,000 for an entry fee of P11,000 and a minimum bet of P5,500.
The winning handler and gaffer will receive P20,000 and P10,000, respectively. Weights required are from 1.8-2.4 kgs.
Expected to participate are cock aficionados from Laguna, Batangas, Cavite , Muntinlupa, Las Pinas, and Pasay.
Among those who have signed up are Mayor Nene Aguilar, Lito Campilo, Bong Paraiso, Marlon Arnaiz, Jojo Marquez, Chito Bong, Tony Mabasa, Aglo Martinez, Vetsin Elorde Cockpit, JS Pabuto Farm, and Danny & Jaime Gudem.
Fights will start at 7 p.m.
