Cocolife and Sta. Lucia seek to end their respective campaigns on a bright note when they battle for fifth place today in the Philippine Superliga All-Filipino Conference at the La Salle Lipa Sentrum in Batangas.
Match is at 7 p.m. with the Asset Managers and the Lady Realtors hoping to console themselves after failing to make it to the semis.
The Asset Managers survived the Generika-Ayala Lifesavers, 25-18, 25-22, 17-25, 19-25, 15-10, while the Lady Realtors drubbed the Cherrylume Iron Lady Warriors, 25-15, 25-14, 25-20.
Cocolife Coach Kungfu Reyes said their mission is not yet over.
“We want to finish on a high note,” said Reyes. “Our pride is at stake. We will prepare hard against Sta. Lucia and make sure we’ll get the fifth place trophy.”
