The country’s oldest surviving radio station – DZRH – marks its 78th anniversary with medical missions in provinces throughout the country and a blood drive for soldiers wounded in Marawi City.
Partnering with public and private organizations through its “Makabagong Bayanihan” program, DZRH will underscore its commitment to public service via a series of events focusing on public health this month.
Today, residents of Baseco Compound in Tondo, Manila will benefit from the Villar Sipag multi-services caravan, sponsored by Sen. Cynthia A. Villar.
On July 20, DZRH will hold a bloodletting drive at the Georgetown Subdivision Covered Court, Barangay Molino IV, Bacoor City, in partnership with Dugong Alay, Dugtong Buhay.
That same day, DZRH, together with some private companies, will extend assistance and provide recognition and entertainment for soldiers wounded during the Marawi conflict who are currently confined at the Armed Forces of the Philippines Medical Center, also known as the V. Luna General Hospital, in Quezon City.
