Suspected drug lord Peter Lim and other drug personalities have been placed in the Immigration Lookout Bulletin Order (ILBO) as they face drug complaints before the Department of Justice (DoJ).
Justice Secretary Vitaliano Aguirre II has ordered the Bureau of Immigration (BI) to place in its lookout list Lim alias Jaguar; self-confessed drug trader Rolan “Kerwin” Espinosa who is already in the custody of the National Bureau of Investigation (NBI), convicted drug lord Peter Co who is already languishing at the New Bilibid Prison (NBP), drug supplier Lovely Adam Impal, Marcelo Adorco, Max Miro, Ruel Malindangan, and Jun Pepito.
Aguirre said Police Superintendent Richard Verceles, officer-in-charge of the Criminal Investigation and Detection Group’s Major Crimes Investigation Unit (CIDG-MCIU), requested for the ILBO, after criminal complaints were filed against the eight persons before the Department of Justice (DoJ) for violation of Republic Act No. 9165 or the the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act.
“In view of the gravity of the offense filed against the above-named individuals, there is likelihood that they might leave the country to place themselves beyond the reach of the lawful processes of the concerned offices,” Aguirre said in his order issued on July 11.
The secretary instructed the BI “to be on the lookout/alert for the above-named individuals in the event that anyone of them pass through immigration counters in any of our international airports and/or seaports.”
