A man was found dead with stab wounds in the body on a street in Quezon City Saturday afternoon.
Investigators of the Quezon City Police District described the man as in his late 30s, wearing blue short pants, and had a “Sputnik” tattoo on his left leg.
According to barangay peace officer Wilfredo Rosales, he was on duty at around 5:30 p.m. when a concerned citizen informed him about the body.
Rosales immediately went to the scene on 8th Street near corner Gilmore Street in Barangay Mariana where he saw the still unidentified victim lying lifeless on the ground, prompting him to report the incident to authorities.
Responding police officers noted a lone stab wound in the victim’s chest and two more in the back. (Alexandria San Juan)
