Hello,
Kindly allow me to take this opportunity to educate and raise awareness on an issue that countless of men, women, and children face every single day: sexual harassment.
Last night, someone took the effort to make a fake account on Facebook to send me messages that are not allowed to see print.
Written in Filipino, the messages were sexually explicit.
This is a clear act of sexual harassment.
I am currently pursuing action against this person as to not perpetuate this kind of attitude and culture. This is not an issue that we should just report, block, and move forward from. We need to actively put a stop to this.
If you have similar stories or any stories of sexual abuse, let me know. I am here to help and offer a safe space. We all should stick together to put an end to this disgusting abuse of sexual power. #takeitfromthesexymind
Love,
Rica
