Breanna L. Labadan put on a dazzling performance and finished third overall in the XVI Gracia Cup 2018 Rhythmic Gymnastics Championship held recently at the Pestszentimrei Sportkastély in Budapest, Hungary.
Breanna, the country’s lone participant, made a good account of herself against a competitive field in the 11 years old category.
Among the powerhouse countries from Europe that took part in the meet included Russia, Bulgaria, Ukraine, Poland, Slovenia, Greece, Slovakia, Belgium and host country Hungary.
It was a fitting sequel to a gold medal performance in the Hongkong Queens Cup last December.
“The secret above all this success is our faith in Jesus. With her dedication and hard work to train harder at 11 years old like that I’m very confident she can be a star in this sport,” said proud father Arnold Labadan.
The St. Scholastica’s College beauty comes from Butuan City, Agusan Del Norte. She currently resides in Manila and is under the National Pool of the Gymnastic Association of the Philippines and Philippine Sports Commission.
