AWARD-winning actress Natalie Hart has said that she doesn’t mind what critics say about her as she clarified impressions that she is a porn star.
“Hindi naman porn star. Siguro kasi sa Pilipinas, hindi pa nila kayang tanggapin ‘yung ginagawa ko na medyo open. But I really believe na hindi naman porn ‘yung ginagawa ko dahil there’s no penetration,” said Hart, when asked about pornography, during an interview on “Tonight With Boy Abunda” on ABS CBN.
“Wala akong ginagawa. We practice everything. The only thing is I showed my boobs in my movies kaya siguro sinasabi nila na porn star ako,” she said.
Hart got the impression that she’s into porno after she wrapped up the erotic thriller “Siphayo” where she had double breast exposure in 2016.
Produced by BG Productions International, Inc. under Baby F. Go, the same film won her Best Actress at the International Film Festival Manhattan: Film Festival Director Award.
Hart, 25, of San Pedro, Laguna, currently stars in the movie “Sin Island” with Xian Lim and Coleen Garcia.
Hart said that she gets emotional when she talks about her family.
“Nasasaktan ako kapag hindi ko nabibigyan ng suporta ‘yung pamilya ko. For me I’m very dramatic about that;
“Siguro doon ako may paki-alam. I really think about my future. I really wanna go somewhere in life to help my brothers. ‘Yun ‘yung may pakialam ako run;
“Pero ‘yung iba sasabihin nila na malandi, pokpok, porn star. I don’t care wala akong pakialam sa kanilang lahat!;
“Yung father ko hindi nya talaga kami sinuportahan. That was very difficult for us. But I think everyone has a story;
“Nandito ako sa position na ito kasi I needed to be in my character. I’m here now and masaya ako. Hindi ako magiging ganito ka-strong kung hindi ko lahat naranasan ‘yun,” Hart said.
Asked who the real Natalie Hart is, the actress said: “I’m just an open-minded woman. Babaeng bakla. And I really do whatever I want pero hindi ako nananakit ng ibang tao.”
Hart also remembered her father who passed away due to cancer last year.
“Before he died, he found out I had a very sexy film. Sabi nya ‘You know what, everything is irrelevant as long as you know who you are, nothing matters! As long as we know we love you, and we know who you are, that’s the only thing that matters.’
“So you don’t need to listen to these people. Sabi ko sa kanya before he died I’m gonna make him really really proud,” Hart also said.
Hart also thanked her uncle, the brother of her mother, who raised her.
“I don’t know if my mom really loves that person. My dad wasn’t there. He raised me. He was kinda crazy sometimes. So pagnagagalit sya, sasampalin nya ako, sinasabunutan n’ya ‘yung buhok ko;
“But it’s different form the eastern and western mentality. Eastern mentality, it’s alright for them to hurt kids pagpinapalo mo sila;
“Tinuruan nya akong maging strong woman. Because I wouldn’t be this strong kung hindi ko naranasan ‘yun nung bata ako,” she said.
Hart also said that she understands her mom who is now based in Sweden.
“I want my mother to have a great life. Naniniwala ako na hindi naman nila dapat ibigay ang buong buhay sa’yo.
Nanininwala ako na lahat tayo nasa mundong ito to be happy and as much as possible, even though she’s not giving me the kind of support I need, I’m happy that she’s getting that kind of love that she needs. I understand her,” she said.
