FROM AIZA TO ICE: Call her Ice Seguerra from here on. More crisp, more man-sounding.
Former child actress turned singer Aiza Seguerra has adopted a new screen name Ice Seguerra.
The multi-Platinum recording artist said so himself as he renewed his recording contract with Universal Records. The contract signing was held on Feb. 27, 2018 at the Universal Records office in Quezon City. Present during the signing were Universal Records Executive Vice President Ramon Chuaying, General Manager Kathleen Dy Go, Operations Manager Peter Chan, Head of OPM Production Ito Rapadas.
“Pagdating ng Panahon” by the former Aiza Seguerra remains one of my favorite songs by this wonder singer with the smooth, clean voice.

NAME DROPPERS ALL: Speaking of name dropping, several other actors and showbiz personalities have earlier adopted the same career-changing move.
Think of Chariz Pempengco who’s now known as Jake Zyrus, Rustom Padilla as BB Gandanghari, Princess Knell who now responds to the moniker, Nathalie Hart.
What’s in a name? Not much, and yet so much more. Sometimes, it makes or breaks a career.
The one good thing about Aiza’s name change is that it sounds so close to home. Ice seems like a pet name (palayaw) for Aiza, which sounds just fine.
In other words, she won’t confuse his audience as the two names do sound alike. Suwerte niya.

HOW’S SAM MILBY: Sam Milby, one of our nicest actors, is rendered busy by a forthcoming TV drama series and a new movie.
His publicist, Caress Caballero, dutifully updated us on his whereabouts.
Sam co-stars with Jericho Rosales and Yen Santos in “Love Will Lead You Back.” On the other hand, he plays opposite Yassi Pressman in a movie, “Ang Pambansang Third Wheel,” showing soon under Viva Films.
