AGOO, La Union – A teenager was declared dead-on-arrival at a hospital here following an accident in a highway near Barangay San Antonio here yesterday.
Police identified the fatality as Rolando Galera, 19. His companion, identified as Philip Repuerzo, sustained severe injuries and is still confined at a hospital.
Initial investigation showed the two were crossing the highway onboard a motorcycle when they were hit by a rushing bus driven by Robert Arcena, Jr. Arcena is now under the custody of Agoo police.
