Four drug suspects, including two women, were nabbed during a buy-bust operation in Caloocan City Friday morning, a belated report said. Those arrested were identified as Willy Villa Abrille, 34, driver; Vinson Villalobos, 33, therapist; Cheryl Ramil, 23, jobless; and Princess Magtalas, 23, jobless.
Abrille admitted his involvement in illegal drug trade while the three others said they were just drug users. Anti-narcotics agents led by Sr. Inspector Allan Hernandez launched a buy-bust operation against Abrille in front of a motel in Barangay 178 around 6:30 a.m. Abrille and his cohorts was then arrested after he handed over a sachet of shabu worth P100 to a police poseur-buyer. Five more sachets were seized from Abrille, police said. According to case investigator PO1 Jomar Manalo, all suspects were not included in the drug watchlist but Abrille had a previous drug related case in 2009. Charges for violation of RA 9165 or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002 will be filed against the suspects who are now detained at the Caloocan City police detention cell. (Kate Javier)
