The Phoenix Suns have officially secured the top pick in the NBA draft. The Sacramento Kings jumped up the board to get the number-two overall pick, while the Atlanta Hawks nabbed the third pick.
The Suns headed into the draw with a 25-percent chance of landing the number-one overall pick.
The climb of the Kings and Hawks was bad news for the Memphis Grizzlies and Dallas Mavericks, which both got bumped from projected top-three picks.
The Grizzlies will have the number four pick, while the Mavericks will pick fifth overall.
DeAndre Ayton, Marvin Bagley III, and Luka Doncic are all potential first overall picks, with Ayton looking like the favorite. Jaren Jackson and Mohamed Bamba are also seen as top prospects.
