The Food and Drug Administration (FDA) advised the public against the consumption of five food products that have not gone through them for quality evaluation.
In its advisory, the agency is referring to these food products: Serpentina the Miracle Herbs, The Placenta Premium Daily Supplement, Throat Loquat Candy, N Cafe Cocoa Malt, and N Cafe 3-in-1 Coffee.
The FDA said that their post marketing surveillance activities have verified that the said food products did not undergo their registration process, thus they have not issued the proper authorization in the form of Certificate of Product Registration.
Since it did not undergo evaluation, the FDA said that they cannot guarantee the products’ safety and quality. (Analou De Vera)
