MALAPATAN, Sarangani – A 37-year-old woman allegedly killed her husband during a heated argument over the weekend here.
Police identified the suspect as Pauline Herbias.
Investigation showed the victim, Eliezer Herbias, 54, failed to buy rice for their children and went to a drinking spree.
Pauline was fuming mad and confronted her drunk husband, triggering a heated argument inside their house in Barangay Lun Masla here.
Eliezer tried to attack the suspect who defended herself by stabbing him several times.
The suspect voluntarily surrendered to the police after the incident. Pauline said her husband maltreats their children whenever he is drunk.
Police have filed parricide charges against the suspect. (Joseph Jubelag)
