Pia Wurtzbach believes the country’s representative to this year’s Miss Universe pageant, Catriona Gray, has a “good chance” of winning the title.
“Oo naman I think that she has a very good chance. Total package siya at pag sinabing total package ‘yun talaga wala kang mapipintas sa kanya,” she told “Umagang Kay Ganda,” Monday.
Wurtzbach is excited to watch Gray compete, if at least on the sidelines.
She was one of the judges during last year’s edition of the pageant but she clarified she will not be doing so this year.
“I don’t think the judges repeat so it’s going to be a long time before I can judge again,” she said.
Meanwhile, Gray is quite busy preparing for the upcoming beauty pageant.
Of late, she has been meeting with Filipino fashion designers.
“I want to support Filipino designers to show the world what we are capable of. To be able to represent our beautiful country, it makes me so proud as a person,” Gray said in the same interview.
