A man was shot dead by an unidentified assailant while playing computer games in Caloocan City, Sunday night.
Police identified the victim as Christopher Aculina, 38, of San Jose del Monte, Bulacan. He died from a gunshot wound in the head.
Initial investigation showed that Aculina was inside a computer shop at Phase, Barangay 176 when an unidentified man arrived and shot him around 7:30 p.m.
The suspect was described as about 40 to 50 years old, 5”8 in height; and was wearing black jacket, denim pants and bull cap, police said.
The gunman immediately fled while Aculina was brought to Jose Rodriguez Memorial Hospital where he was declared dead on arrival.
An spent shell and a deformed slug of .45-caliber gun were recovered from the scene.
Follow-up investigation is now underway to establish the motive behind the killing and the identity of the gunman. (Kate Louise Javier)
