ALDEN Richards has seemingly taken to heart the ideals of his TV alter ego superhero Victor Magtanggol AKA Hammerman, having taken on the responsibility of sending to school a child born without arms.
Niño Dayon of Negros Occidental, who was featured on “Kapuso Mo, Jessica Soho” last Sunday, was allowed his wish to meet Richards, after he made known his love for his TV character, Hammerman.
Dayon said he likes Hammerman because like him, he also uses a hammer to do good, like doing simple repairs at home.
He also explained a hammer helps him in crafting new toys he could play with.
When told by the eight-year-old’s mom how he dreams of becoming an engineer someday, Richards said, “Sasagutin ko na po ‘yung pag-aaral niya po hanggang college.”
The actor-singer added, “Hindi na po kayo mamomroblema sa pag-aaral ni Niño, Ma’am. Ako na pong bahala.”
Apart from this, Richards also gave Dayon a specialized chair he could use as with a replica of Hamerman’s Mjolnir.
