Jose Rizal University and San Beda try to complete an upset run against fancied rivals today for championship berths in NCAA juniors basketball at The Arena in San Juan City.
No. 4 Light Bombers and No. 3 Red Cubs forged knockout semifinal matches last Friday after besting defending champion La Salle Greenhills, 81-78, and last year’s finalist Mapua, 84-71.
JRU and LSGH face anew at 8 a.m. while San Beda and Mapua collide at 10 a.m. for tickets to the best-of-three finals.
