Representatives of gone sports icons Arda, Codiñera, Carbonell, Dela Rosa, Padilla and Dela Viña are also invited to receive their respective awards.
“This is one of the best opportunity that we have, to pay tribute to our great athletes. Sa dami ng karalangan na ibinigay nila sa ating bayan, they deserve this recognition,” said Ramirez, adding “we also hope that they would be able to inspire our youth, be a role model to the children.”
The elected hall of famers will receive an incentive worth R100,000 and a trophy to commemorate their enshrinement.
This marks the third time the PSC leads in honoring Filipino sports legends.
