ALESSANDRA de Rossi was seen crying on TV recently.
In an interview on “Tonight With Boy Abunda” she revealed she nearly quit showbiz after a recent “betrayal.”
The 34-year-old actress didn’t mention names but hinted the person was from showbiz.
She said, “Ang hirap lang talaga humanap ng tao na totoo sa ‘yo sa showbiz. Kasi totoong-totoo ako, e. Ang hirap. Iyon ang sinasabi sa ‘kin ng mama ko na, ‘Huwag mo ituring lahat na pamilya. Mamili ka lang.’ Ako kasi, hindi ako namimili.”
De Rossi added she was so hurt she wanted to quit the business altogether.
“Umabot ako sa . . . Gusto ko na namang mag-quit. ‘Yung, ‘Ayoko na, ang pa-plastic niyong lahat!’ Alam mo ‘yon? Pero hindi, e. Kailangan ko lang siguro i-regulate,” she said.
She went on: “I make mistakes. Nagagalit ako. Minsan, mayroon akong nasusungitan. I’m a human being, but I’m not evil. Never ako nantalo ng kapwa ko. I’m not evil, hindi ako sure sa good.”
De Rossi did not say whether the “betrayal” had something to do with her shaving her head.
When asked about the change in look, she said, “Siyempre, merong kuwento . . . Basta, ano lang, may pinaghandaan ako.” (Neil Ramos)
