A MAN included in the drug watchlist was arrested together with his eight alleged customers who were caught in the middle of a shabu session in Mandaluyong City, Wednesday.
Police identified the suspects as Danilo Guillermo, 65; Jerry Constantino, 48; Nathaniel Millari, 34; Ramon Vataracia, 43; Rodel Mercado, 39; Lorelie Base, 34; Jonnery John Perilla, 26; Ruben San Diego, 33; and Roger Dalo, 30.
Senior Supt. Moises Villaceran, Mandaluyong City police chief, said that the operation was launched against Guillermo who was included in the station’s drug watchlist.
Villaceran added that the Guillermo used his house as a drug den for his customers.
“Si [Guillermo] ay may mga paupahan at ang isang room ay ginagawa nilang gamitan ng drugs,” said Chief Inspector Ignacio Acopo, Mandaluyong City Police Station Drug Enforcement Unit (SDEU) chief.
Investigation showed that at around 1:30 a.m. on Wednesday, members of the SDEU conducted a buy-bust operation against Guillermo at his house on Sinag Street in Barangay Highway Hills, Mandaluyong.
Police said anti-narcotics cops arrested Guillermo during the transaction and collared the eight other suspects who were seen having a shabu session inside his house.
Police recovered from the suspects sachets of shabu and several drug paraphernalia.
Police said they will file charges against the suspects for violation of Republic Act 9165 or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002. (Jhon Aldrin Casinas)
