San Juan and Caloocan routed separate foes Monday in the Maharlika Pilipinas Basketball League Datu Cup at The Arena in San Juan City.
The San Juan Knights toppled the Quezon City Capitals, 68-58, while the Caloocan Supremos whipped the Laguna Heroes, 76-62.
John Wilson tallied 13 points and six rebounds for the Knights, who have already clinched a playoff berth in the North Division with 18 wins and five losses.
The Supremos, meanwhile, stayed in ninth place in the North Division after improving to 10-14, just a few games behind eighth-placer Pampanga Dong Lanterns (9-12).
Almond Vosotros continued to sizzle for Caloocan, finishing with 23 points, eight rebounds and five assists, while Damian Lasco added 21 points and six boards.
Laguna dropped to 10-14 despite Michael Mabulac firing 19 points and collaring 15 rebounds.
Quezon City fell to 10-11.
