PROSPERIDAD, Agusan del Sur – Administration senatorial bet and former Special Assistant to the President Christopher “Bong” Go gamely bared his back to the media here to belie claims of his alleged involvement in illegal drug trafficking in the country.
Before speaking to a big crowd of Hugpong ng Pagbabago supporters headed by Gov. Adolph Eduard “Eddibong” Plaza here, Go talked to local and national media members for an interview where he vehemently denied accusations aired by a certain “Bikoy” in a series of videos uploaded on the Internet.
After answering a few questions, Go was given a red polo-shirt similar to the color of shirts worn by Plaza supporters. He then turned his back to mediamen then changed his white campaign shirt, baring his back in the process.
Instead of the dragon tattoo supposedly bearing a code of his alleged links to a big time drug syndicate, reflected from Go’s back were at least three circular reddish marks in the upper part of his body.
The senatorial hopeful jokingly admitted that the marks were caused by ventosa glass massage while the others were mere pimples and scratch marks. “Klaro ha, sana matapos na itong istorya,” he declared.
Go, together with presidential son former Davao City Vice Mayor Paulo “Pulong” Duterte, was accused by Bikoy of having links with an illegal drug syndicate.
In Bikoy’s video “Ang Totong Narco List – Episode 3,” the confessed drug trafficker claimed that Go opened four local bank accounts that were used as conduits for stashing drug money payoffs reaching as much as P3 billion. Bikoy said both Go and Paulo wore tattoo marks that contained codes evidencing their drug links. (Ben Rosario)
