The ‘I Love Hulo Basketball League’ fires off on Saturday at the San Jose covered court in Mandaluyong City with around 1,700 cagers taking part.
Barangay chairman Bernard Maglaque and Kagawad Mikel Perey head the organizing committee of the annual event.
Barangay Hulo holds the biggest basketball event in Mandaluyong.
Among the notable players the league has produced are former PBA players Eugene Quilban and Marvin Hayes and Japz Bautista.
