Mikhael James Gutierrez sizzled with 18 points apart from dishing off three assists to spearhead the Junior Strikers who notched their second win in as many outings in the U-17 event backed by Metro Manila Development Authority (MMDA), the Philippine Basketball Association (PBA) and with Barangay 143 as league presentor.
In the other games of the event with Manila Bulletin as media partner, Las Pinas Defenders grabbed its second straight win with a 60-55 squeaker over Taguig Generals while Solid San Juan-PC Gilmore, after a tough 54-55 home loss to Caloocan earlier this week, bounced back big time with 63-58 victory over Navotas.
