League-leading Kaya-Iloilo and defending two-time champion Ceres-Negros square off for the first time this season in the lone game of the Philippines Football League at the PFF National Training Center in Carmona, Cavite.
Kickoff is set at 3:30 p.m. with Kaya looking to protect its hold on top spot against a Ceres side that has won four consecutive matches since being held to a draw in its opening assignment.
Kaya, with 16 points in six games, is out to bounce back from being held to a goalless draw by Green Archers United last Saturday, ending a five-game winning streak to start the campaign.
Ghanian striker Jordan Mintah, Darryl Roberts, Jovin Bedic and goalkeeper Michael Casas lead Kaya’s quest to preserve its unbeaten slate.
