LAS VEGAS – Keith Thurman is a night owl.
The American boxer, who battles Manny Pacquiao Saturday night at the MGM Grand, was seen wandering around the casino floor early Friday morning, about 12 hours before the official weighin for their world welterweight title fight.
It was the second time Thurman was seen doing the same thing during the week.
Early Tuesday morning, the flamboyant Thurman even played cards as he invited curious onlookers, mostly Filipinos in town supporting Pacquiao, into shooting selfies.
As Thurman enjoyed the night away playing around, Pacquiao’s 29th floor Skylofts suite was already locked down to prevent well-wishers and autograph-seekers from disturbing him.
Pacquiao room is guarded by his own security team, some of them former members of the Los Angeles Police Department.
