A 74-year-old man yielded over P1 million worth of suspected shabu during a drug bust at Barangay 168, Deparo, Caloocan City, Sunday morning.
Police said the suspect — Alcober Rosevelito alias “Bossing — was nabbed by members of the Caloocan City Police Station Drug Enforcement Unit (CCPS-SDEU) in an entrapment operation at around 11:25 a.m.
Investigation showed that Rosevelito was arrested after he sold a sachet of suspected shabu worth about P75,000 to a poseur buyer.
A plastic bag of suspected shabu weighing 150 grams worth P1,020,000 was also recovered from the suspect, police said.
The recovered pieces of evidence were brought to CCPS-SDEU office for proper disposition.
Rosevelito, who is now under police custody, will be charged with violation of Republic Act 9165 or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002. (Minka Tiangco)
