Gospel: Mt 9:27-31
AS Jesus passed by, two blind men followed him, crying out, “Son of David, have pity on us!” When he entered the house, the blind men approached him and Jesus said to them, “Do you believe that I can do this?” “Yes, Lord,” they said to him. Then he touched their eyes and said, “Let it be done for you according to your faith.” And their eyes were opened. Jesus warned them sternly, “See that no one knows about this.” But they went out and spread word of him through all that land.

Jesus asks if those seeking for a miracle from him believe in his power.
The two blind men want Jesus to restore their sight. They must have heard stories about Jesus from the people passing by. Jesus becomes viral when he teaches and heals the sick. The two grab the opportunity to call on Jesus who is then passing by, and though blind they follow him.
When Jesus hears their voice, right away he attends to them. Jesus interviews them and senses their faith in him. The two are healed because of their faith. Their eyes are opened. What a joy! Now they cannot keep their mouth shut. They cannot help but spread the news about the power of Jesus. He has done the unbelievable for them.
When we approach Jesus, do we ask with faith? When our petition is granted, do we share our joy with others?
We have received so many blessings from the Lord. We must proclaim how God has shown mercy upon us, and we are grateful to God and are willing to become stewards of divine blessing.
