BACOLOD CITY – Two persons died while four others were injured in two separate road accidents in Negros Occidental over the weekend.
In Bago City, Ricardo Detangco, 55, of Barangay Calumangan, died while four others were injured after their motorcycles collided along Rafael Salas Drive at Barangay Sampinit on Saturday.
Injured were Detangco’s wife Emelda, 50; Ryan Labrador, 29, Romer Morales, and Jejel Beleganio, 37.
Police records showed that Labrador was driving a motorcycle with his two companions when they were allegedly hit by Ricardo’s motorcycle.
Ricardo came from a market when he allegedly failed to notice Labrador’s motorcycle.
All of them sustained injuries and were brought to a hospital where Ricardo was declared dead.
Meanwhile, a 15-year-old girl died after she was allegedly hit by a delivery truck at Sitio Cabubu-an, Barangay Pilar, Hinigaran town on Friday. (Glazyl Masculino)
