Pinky Amador is adamant her outburst — as seen on a video now circulating in social media — has more than enough basis.
In a statement, the TV, film, and theatre actress apologized to those she has offended but explained it all started with the management of the condo-tel she was staying in, purportedly accepting Persons Under Monitoring (PUMs) without her and other tenants’ knowledge.
Pinky related she, as with several other tenants, asked the building administration to issue a memo updating them on safety guidelines about the situation to no avail.
She said, “We simply wanted them to be transparent with us about the goings on in the building, and to inform us about any systems they have in place.
“I cannot count the number of times I have tried to communicate this.
“My other neighbours also tried to do so, to no avail. That was utterly frustrating.”
It was when she confronted the management staff, which she believes also responsible for uploading the viral video with the intention to leak it online, something she said was, “malicious, vengeful, and a violation of the anti-wire tapping act.”
The condo-tel is yet to release a statement on the issue as of this writing.
