Chooks-to-Go is not only helping sports personalities in its effort to help flatten the coronavirus (COVID-19) curve in the country.
On Friday, the country’s organizer of Pilipinas 3×3 tournament threw its all-out support to the leadership of Manila City which recently launched its free walk-in and drive-thru testing centers.
Spearheaded by Bounty Agro Ventures Inc. President Ronald Mascariñas, Chooks-to-Go gave 100 food packs to the frontliners stationed at the Quirino Grandstand.
For Mascariñas, that was their way of giving back to the frontliners who have given so much to help make the country safe.
“I admire the initiative of Mayor Isko (Moreno) especially in this operation,” said Mascariñas. “The rapid testing drive-thrus is one way of helping trace who has the coronavirus or not.
“And we vow that we will help in taking care of the frontliners who are handling this operation. Hindi sila nag-iisa.”
Chooks-to-Go will continue to give food packs to the frontliners on a daily basis.
Among the sports personalities who availed of Mascariñas’ generosity are basketball celebrity brothers Kiefer and Thirdy Ravena and multi-titled triathlete Nikko Huelgas.
“I want every Manileño to be good people to others, like how Manila is trying to be a good neighbor to other cities,” Moreno said.
