DAGUPAN CITY – Operatives of the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) Region 1 nabbed an alleged drug den operator and four suspected drug addicts in a buy-bust operation Wednesday at Brgy. Herrero Perez here.
PDEA agents identified the drug den operator as Fidel De Gracia while the drug suspects were Raquel Royeca, Agnes Mejia, Maricel Caralipio, and Merle Carbonell.
The PDEA agents claimed they were only targeting De Gracia in their operation, but they were surprised to discover the four other suspects.
They yielded 11 grams of suspected shabu worth P74,800 and various drug paraphernalia.
They added that De Gracia was involved in the city’s illegal drug activities.
The five are now facing charges for violation of Comprehensive Dangerous Drug Act. (Liezle Basa Inigo)
