In an effort to continue providing the public quality entertainment, Viva entered into a partnership with TV5.
First to emerge from this partnership are five new shows from CignalTV and SariSari.
“Masked Singer Pilipinas,” to be hosted by Billy Crawford, is set to premiere on Oct. 24, 7 p.m. on the TV5 Primetime block.
Based on the hit South Korean Show, “King of Mask Singer,” which has also been adapted in the US, the show will have celebrity performers cloaked in masks and costumes.
Cristine Reyes, Kim Molina, Matteo Guidicelli, and Aga Muhlach will sit as judges.
Comedy-horror series “Ghost Adventures” returns for its second season starting Oct. 31.
Par Jack (Benjie Paras), the country’s famous ghost whisperer, continues to help ghosts crossover to the after life. But someone in purgatory feels threatened by Par Jack’s abilities and vows to keep him from succeeding in his mission. Empoy Marquez and Kylie Verzosa join Paras in the show.
On Nov. 23, Ryza Cenon will symbolize women empowerment as “Bella Bandida.” The show is loosely based on Francisco V. Coching’s comic book of the same name.
“Kagat ng Dilim” will also return on Nov. 23 with acclaimed directors Richard Somes, Lawrence Fajardo, Paul Basinillo and Rae Red.
Last but not the least on the list is “Onstage,” a show that highlights memorable concerts including Anne Curtis’s “Anne Kapal Forbidden Concert,” “Revolution: The JaDine Concert,” “The Crew: Billy Craword, Sam Concepcion and James Reid,” “Playlist,” “SiKat Ako: Katrina Velarde Concert,” “Martin & Side A,” “Martin Nievera 3D,” Martin Nievera and Sarah Geronimo’s “What Love Is?”, and more.
Soon to follow is the singing tilt “Born To Be A Star,” fantasy-comedy series “Puto,” and the TV adaptation of “Republika Origins.”
Then there’s “The Wall,” a game of chance produced by Lebron James, “1000 Heartbeats,” a game show that originated in the UK, “Encounter,” a romantic-drama series, and “Ninja Kids,” an action-adventure series.
