Weeks after her sister made headlines airing on social media a multitude of grievances directed against her and their mother, Pia Wurtzbach is still seemingly very much keen on keeping the whole issue under wraps.
If anything, the former Miss Universe admitted to family now being more important to her than ever.
In an online pageant talk show, Saturday, Pia divulged how the ongoing health crisis allowed her the realization.
She related, “Nagkaroon ako ng oras to really discover myself and really reassess myself. Like, really ask myself, what are the things that really matter to me, what are the things that really make me happy, now that I don’t have all of this work to distract me? And I realized it’s family. It’s the connections that you have with your family, with your loved ones. Magkakalayo (man) kayo, ma-feel niyo pa rin na connected kayo sa isa’t isa.”
“The little things matter now. Before ang iniisip ko lang, ‘big goals, big goals’ all the time. I forgot the little things around me,” she added.
As to her seeming silence on certain issues, she explained, “Ang daming nangyayari sa Pilipinas. Andaming nangyayari sa mundo. Am I just gonna sit back and watch, or do I say something? Do I let my stand be known?”
According to Pia she’d rather reach out directly to those involved.
“Hindi ako nakakapag-reach out kunyari sa mga kaibigan ko, sa mga loved ones ko, ganyan. Baka ito na yung time na mag-message ka, mag-reach out ka sa kanila. Baka kailangan nila ng tulong mo, ganyan.”
In her rant, Sarah Wurtzbach accused her sister for supposedly being unsupportive of her, both emotionally and financially.
She also accused the beauty queen of siding with their mother, Cheryl Alonzo Tyndall, who is supposedly urging her to leave her husband.
Note both Sarah and Cheryl are living in the United Kingdom.
