SAN FABIAN, Pangasinan – The body of a two-year-old boy was found floating in a creek in Barangay Tocok Thursday night here.
Police identified the victim as JP Pereras who allegedly fell into the creek when his mother, Jeaneath Pereras, left him.
The mother told police her son was still playing near the creek when she left around 6 p.m.
Their neighbor, however, noticed that the victim was already floating in the creek around 6:30 pm.
The victim was rushed by his mother to Region 1 Medical Center, Dagupan City, Pangasinan but was declared dead on arrival by the attending physician. (Liezle Basa Inigo)
