CAMP DIEGO SILANG, La Union – An alleged drug group leader was arrested after police operatives seized some P20,400 worth of shabu during a search in his house in Barangay Salincob, Bacnotan, La Union on Thursday.
Bacnotan police chief Maj. Reginaldo Dalipias identified the suspect as Bolacan Orancaya, 46, leader of the “Orancaya Drug Group”, which operates in La Union, Ilocos Sur, and Ilocos Norte.
He was arrested during the implementation of a search warrant which was issued by Executive Judge Asuncion Fikingas Mandia of RTC First Judicial Region in San Fernando City, La Union.
During the search in his house, the cops confiscated six sachets of suspected shabu and several drug paraphernalia.
The suspect is now under the custody of Bacnotan Police Station. (Erwin Beleo)
