The occupancy rate in 29 hospitals in Metro Manila are already at the critical level as the country continues to see a rise in the coronavirus disease (COVID-19) cases.
Based on the Department of Health’s (DoH’s) COVID-19 tracker, a critical level means that the hospital reached over 85 percent of its bed capacity dedicated for coronavirus patients.
As of March 19, the tracker showed that 10 hospitals have already reached 100 percent capacity.
These are Chinese General Hospital and Medical Center, E. Zarate Hospital, F.Y. Manalo Medical Foundation, Inc, FEU-Dr. Nicanor Reyes Medical Foundation Inc., Makati Medical Center, Metro North Medical Center and Hospital Inc, Metropolitan Medical Center, Rosario Maclang Bautista General Hospital, Unihealth Parañaque Hospital and Medical Center, Inc., and Veterans Memorial Medical Center.

Bernardino General Hospital – 94.7 percent
Commonwealth Hospital and Medical Center – 98.5 percent
East Avenue Medical Center – 89.8 percent
Lung Center of the Philippines – 92.1 percent
Medical Center Manila Inc. – 85.1 percent
Ospital ng Makati – 99 percent
Ospital ng Muntinlupa – 97.1 percent
Pacific Global Medical Center, Inc. – 86.7 percent
Quirino Memorial Medical Center – 83.3 percent
Research Institute for Tropical Medicine – 90.5 percent
San Juan De Dios Educational Foundation, Inc. – 93.9 percent
Sta. Ana Hospital – 90 percent
Taguig-Pateros District Hospital – 86 percent
The Medical City – 86.8 percent
