Classical music on television?
Why not? After all, music, whether classical or popular is meant for all.
Years back, there is such a program on GMA, “Little Night Music,” hosted by coloratura soprano Fides Asensio.
Why not revive it or start a similar program?
Perhaps, Ryan Cayabyab, National Artist, Magsaysay awardee, and Papal awardee, could host a show featuring classical music.
Or if Ryan is not available, why not Rachelle Gerodias, the country’s top soprano?
Classical music includes kundiman and other Filipino songs. Not only Mozart and opera.
Perhaps, Broadway plays and songs could be included in such a show.
