Filipino bet Louie Sangalang proved his worth in “The Apprentice” anew after helping Team Valor to victory in their business challenge.
Serving as the project manager this time, Sangalang united the team in harmony as former leader Clinton Tudor displayed the same demeanor while brainstorming for the seven-day social media campaign task in Episode 2 of the hit reality television series.
Team Conquest’s Eugene Chung, on the other hand, had difficulty in handling his teammates which resulted in disorganization.
While both squads had successful presentations, ONE CEO Chatri Sityodtong had a fair share of compliments and criticisms.
Sityodtong lauded Team Valor’s presentation with its analytics and creativity but touched on the lack of a clear seven-day plan as well, which was key in the actual challenge.
The ONE honcho, in contrast, praised Team Conquest for a clear blueprint but pointed out the lack of innovation and originality.
Resident advisor Niharika Singh, Sityodtong’s right-hand woman, also called out Alvin Ang for his minimal contribution and Roman Wilson for the presentation design flaws.
Also present as guest judge was Catcha Group co-founder and group CEO Patrick Grove as Chung, Wilson, and Ang, the second time for his part, were sent to the chopping block.
After the deliberation, Wilson and Ang were eventually eliminated and packed their bags home.
Earlier in the physical task, Team Valor also emerged victorious over Team Conquest after Sho Takei overcame his fear of heights with the rappelling race at the Fort Siloso Skywalk on Sentosa Island en route to a celebration at Bar Square.
Prior to the challenge, martial arts legend Georges-St Pierre and Renzo Gracie surprised the candidates by taking on the task first.
